We are looking for a fully remote Forensic Engineer/Architect in Florida to join a non-corporate business focused on high-quality building envelope and structural investigations across Florida.
This is a fully remote position with direct communication with the business owner, offering autonomy, clarity, and a collaborative working environment.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct forensic investigations of building failures, water intrusion, structural distress, and envelope deficiencies.
Perform site inspections, document conditions, and collect field data.
Analyse construction documents, codes, and standards to determine causation.
Prepare clear, well-supported technical reports for clients.
Communicate findings directly with clients and business owner.
Maintain a fully remote workload with no out of state travel.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's in Structural/Civil Engineering/Architecture (Preferred).
PE/EIT/AIA/RRO/RRC/REWO/REWC licence (Preferred).
Experience performing investigations on the building envelope.
