What will you be doing as an SAP Basis Senior Consultant @ delaware India?
As an SAP Basis Senior Consultant, with strong expertise in SAP Public Cloud environments, you should have at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project experience under your belt. You should possess a solid foundation in SAP Basis administration, cloud operations, system lifecycle management, and landscape support. Experience with SAP Private Cloud, RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, or traditional On-Premise SAP landscapes will be an added advantage.
You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of SAP environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams during implementation and support engagements.
As a member of our global SAP practice, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across regions and play a key role in delivering innovative SAP S/4HANA solutions while leveraging industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP Basis activities during SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and support projects.
Manage SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system administration and landscape operations.
Perform system provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Coordinate and support SAP release upgrades, transport management, patching, and maintenance activities.
Manage user administration, role assignments, security compliance, and system governance.
Monitor system health, availability, and performance through SAP monitoring tools.
Collaborate with functional, technical, integration, and infrastructure teams throughout project lifecycles.
Support cloud operations including tenant management, service requests, incident management, and interface monitoring.
Participate in cutover planning, hypercare support, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, operational standards, and security guidelines.
Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring to junior consultants.
Support disaster recovery, backup validation, and business continuity activities where applicable.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with SAP Private Cloud Edition (RISE with SAP).
SAP On-Premise Basis administration experience.
SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM experience.
SAP HANA administration exposure.
SAP S/4HANA conversion or migration project experience.
Knowledge of SAP BTP administration.
Exposure to SAP Integration Suite.
Experience working with hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Automation and scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Python).
SAP certifications in SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, Public Cloud, or related technologies.
