Key Result Areas
Independently evaluate, plan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity technology projects end‑to‑end.
Lead the technical delivery lifecycle across design/architecture, implementation, integration, and handover of security solutions.
Coordinate and drive multiple concurrent cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with program/portfolio objectives.
Manage cross‑functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success and operational readiness.
Provide project governance, maintain risk registers, ensure documentation quality, and deliver regular executive‑level status updates.
Ensure alignment of implemented solutions with enterprise security standards, best practices, and regulatory/industry frameworks.
Identify gaps in current security posture and drive corrective actions or enhancements through structured project execution.
Job Description
The Cybersecurity Projects Manager (Technical Role) will be responsible for leading the planning, technical evaluation, design, implementation, and delivery of cybersecurity projects across infrastructure, application, and cloud environments. This role demands strong technical depth in cybersecurity technologies combined with structured project management capabilities.
The candidate will independently lead technical cybersecurity initiatives, manage diverse project teams, engage with vendors and product specialists, and interact with internal business and IT stakeholders. The role requires hands-on understanding technologies and deployment of security technologies, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. The Cybersecurity Projects Manager will ensure project governance, maintain documentation (SOW, HLD, LLD, SOPs, KT plans), and track milestones, risks, and dependencies across the project's lifecycle.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC, ISO 27001 LA/LI,
REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE
8–10 years of overall experience in cybersecurity with a majority focused on technical delivery of cybersecurity projects.
Experience designing, architecting, deploying, and managing cybersecurity solutions across infrastructure and application layers.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure Security (network, endpoint, firewall, proxy, email security, SIEM, DLP, WAF).
Experience with cybersecurity technology deployments in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity methodologies, frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong cybersecurity project management and planning skills.
Solid technical knowledge of cybersecurity products, protocols, and enterprise‑grade security architectures.
Strong security mindset with the ability to translate security standards into business-friendly requirements.
Excellent written documentation and verbal presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.
Self‑driven, proactive, and capable of handling responsibilities independently.
High professional ethics and disciplined ownership of deliverables.
Broad understanding of security and risk issues across platforms and technologies.
