Business Analyst

About the Role
Our client, a prominent global investment bank, is looking for a Strategic Business Change Manager to act as the bridge between business and IT for a key finance platform. This is a cross-functional role suited to someone who combines strong stakeholder management with hands-on production support experience, and who's motivated by continuous improvement and broadening their business knowledge.
What You'll Do
Act as the primary link between business teams and IT on system-related matters
Advise on effective use of internal systems and tools, and how they can better align with business processes
Support system adoption, optimisation, and continuous improvement
Provide first-line production support for business-critical applications
Triage user issues and defects before escalating to IT
Manage user access requests and uphold strong access governance
Help maintain data integrity, system stability, and operational resilience
Oversee business-led system development and enhancement activities
Coordinate testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to confirm solutions meet business needs
Support implementation planning, release coordination, and deployment management
Identify risks and support assurance activities to minimise disruption to live operations
Resolve issues using business and system expertise, reducing dependency on direct IT intervention
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead production and incident management for Receivables Finance, including coordinating with IT on issues such as payment files not feeding correctly into IFAI
Provide BAU support for IFAI, including transaction-related queries and access administration for France and Malta
Update credit limits and monitor transactions
Manage generic user access and new user profile setup, invoice suspense limit requests, and access rights logs for audit readiness and segregation of duties
Complete UAT across key initiatives including France e-invoicing, ISO (material testing in Q4), TESSI invoicing, DD enhancement, and France Paperless Reporting, providing business sign-off
Support release testing cycles and post-release issue resolution as business SME
Provide SME input across projects, releases, and enhancements, including defect resolution and downstream process facilitation for IFAI
Support business analysis activity, including forecast booking records for RF products and invoice-level actual booking
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in business change, business analysis, or production support within financial services
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and IT
Experience with UAT coordination and release/testing cycles
Familiarity with access governance and audit/control frameworks
Comfortable working with incident and defect triage processes
Knowledge of trade or receivables finance products is an advantage
Experience with invoice finance, e-invoicing, or related platforms (e.g. IFAI) is a plus
Continuous improvement mindset with appetite to grow business and systems knowledge
