Role Description The Senior Tax Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ulhasnagar, responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s tax and accounting functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance, and monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to the business. The role involves preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial statements, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize tax positions while maintaining full regulatory compliance. The Senior Tax Accountant will also provide guidance on tax planning, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting. This position requires close coordination with management to support strategic financial decisions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation to manage and review all direct and indirect tax filings.
Candidates should possess solid skills in Accounting and Financial Statements to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills for reviewing complex financial and tax data.
Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and tax software, and strong MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent, or a bachelor’s/master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are highly beneficial.
Relevant experience in corporate taxation, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG, and knowledge of Indian tax laws and compliance requirements is an advantage.
