Civil Engineer

Company Description We are a Registered Railway Contractor engaged in railway infrastructure and civil construction works.
We are involved in the execution of various railway projects across Assam, West Bengal and other states in India. Our work involves coordination with railway authorities, engineers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure quality, safety and timely completion of projects.
With projects at multiple locations, we are looking for dedicated and skilled professionals who are willing to work at railway project sites and grow their careers in the railway infrastructure and construction sector.
Role Description
Supervise and execute day-to-day civil works at railway project sites.
Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ and specifications.
Check site measurements, levels, quantities and quality of work.
Prepare and maintain Measurement Books (MB), RA Bills, quantity statements and site reports.
Coordinate with railway officials, subcontractors, labour teams and suppliers.
Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Manage site manpower, materials and construction activities.
Check quality of materials and workmanship.
Identify and resolve site-related issues in coordination with senior engineers/project management.
Maintain daily progress reports and other project documentation.
Ensure compliance with project quality standards and railway/site safety requirements.
Support the project team in planning, execution and completion of civil works.
Preferred candidate profile
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
3 - 8 years of experience in civil construction/site execution.
Candidates with Railway / Infrastructure / Government project experience will be preferred.
Good knowledge of site supervision, BOQ, quantity measurement, MB and RA Bills.
Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
Good communication, coordination and team-management skills.
Should be willing to work at railway project sites and relocate/travel as required.
Practical knowledge of construction materials, quality control and site safety.
Candidates with strong hands-on site experience are preferred.
