Architectural Draftsman

Role Description The Architectural Draftsman role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Architectural Draftsman will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, based on design inputs from architects and project leads. Daily responsibilities include translating conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings, updating drawings through various design iterations, and coordinating documentation for approvals and construction. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure that drawings comply with project specifications, codes, and standards. The Architectural Draftsman will also assist in design development, maintain organized drawing archives, and support overall project documentation workflows.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and accurate documentation.
Solid understanding of Architecture and Planning principles, including spatial organization, building systems, and regulatory considerations.
Ability in technical Drawing, including manual and CAD-based drafting, with attention to precision and clarity.
Practical experience with CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
Strong visual communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to follow design directions while offering constructive input.
Capacity to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple drawing packages, and meet project deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
Prior experience in an architecture or construction firm, and exposure to environmentally responsible or innovative design projects, is an advantage.
