Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamluk, supporting law firm operations and court-related activities. The associate will assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing case files, and maintaining accurate records for hearings and trials. Daily responsibilities include legal research, client communication under supervision, coordination with court staff, and timely filing of petitions, applications, and other documents. The role also involves supporting senior advocates and partners in case strategy, attending court proceedings, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal procedures and deadlines.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of Law and its practical application in court and law firm settings.
Experience or training related to Law Firms, including case management and client service.
Skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal paperwork.
Understanding of Intellectual Property matters and associated legal protections is an advantage.
Familiarity with Corporate Law, contracts, and regulatory compliance is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council is preferred.
Ability to conduct thorough legal research, analyze statutes and case law, and communicate findings clearly.
Attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
Integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and court decorum.
