Cybernetik is a global Indian automation company with 35+ years of experience delivering solutions for the agro-process, food, automotive and environment sectors. We engineer end-to-end material handling and processing systems for customers worldwide.
We are hiring a Senior Manager – Machine Intelligence to lead electrical, controls and automation engineering across our project portfolio. You will own instrumentation & controls suitability, drive PLC/HMI/SCADA design, and steer projects from concept through DAP, FAT and SAT.
Key responsibilities
Lead electrical design, switchgear selection and control-scheme engineering.
Own PLC, HMI, SCADA and VFD development, programming and troubleshooting.
Review PFD, P&ID and the instrumentation & control philosophy for each project.
Deliver basic and detailed engineering for greenfield projects, including field execution with external contractors.
Guarantee project technical suitability from an I&C standpoint.
Manage industrial communication architectures — Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus.
Integrate robotics into automation solutions.
Plan and execute DAP, FAT and SAT.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams for safe, on-time site execution.
Ensure compliance with GMP, SIL, ATEX / Flameproof and CE standards.
Publish daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
Must-haves
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation.
15–20 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation / engineering industry.
Deep expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD and robotics.
Strong command of industrial network protocols.
Proven exposure to QHSE, SIL, ATEX and CE compliance.
