Role Description The Senior Video Editor role is a remote contract position responsible for leading end-to-end video production for Brevia Tech and its clients. This includes editing raw footage into polished, engaging video content, applying color grading, incorporating motion graphics, and adapting content for multiple platforms and formats. The role involves collaborating closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to interpret briefs, refine storylines, and maintain brand consistency across all video outputs. The Senior Video Editor will manage project timelines, organize assets, ensure technical quality standards are met, and optimize videos for digital channels. The position also requires providing creative input, mentoring junior editors or freelancers when needed, and staying current with industry trends and editing best practices.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling projects from concept to final delivery.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading and post-production workflows to achieve consistent, high-quality visual output.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics for explainer videos, product demos, and social media content.
Advanced experience with professional editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
Proven track record of producing digital-first video content for web, social, and marketing campaigns.
Strong storytelling, visual composition, and pacing skills, with attention to detail and brand alignment.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently under minimal supervision.
Portfolio demonstrating senior-level video work; experience in tech, SaaS, or digital products is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, Design, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
