Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including work surfaces, equipment, floors, and storage areas - Wash, sanitise, and organise crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cooking utensils efficiently and safely - Support the kitchen team by clearing and preparing workstations between service periods
Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain organised refuse areas in compliance with health and safety regulations - Assist with stock rotation and basic food storage procedures, ensuring items are stored correctly - Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning machinery with care and attention
Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and service staff, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach - Report any maintenance issues, breakages, or hygiene concerns to management immediately - Adhere to all food safety and health and safety protocols at all times - Contribute to a positive, inclusive kitchen environment through reliable attendance and a supportive attitude
Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or cleaning role is desirable but not essential; we are happy to provide induction and training - Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment - Strong attention to detail with a genuine commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
Physical stamina and capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks - Good manual dexterity and coordination when handling crockery, glassware, and equipment - Reliable, punctual, and demonstrating a strong work ethic
