Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Kanayannur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, while maintaining accurate and organized financial records. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, addressing finance-related queries, and contributing to process improvements within the finance function.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to maintain accurate records under deadlines.
Good communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to work on-site in Kanayannur and manage full-time responsibilities reliably.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in a retail, distribution, or tools-related business is beneficial but not required.
