Role Description The Mechanical Engineering Technician will work on-site in Bhopal in a full-time capacity, supporting the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of tractor and mechanical assemblies. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, assisting in mechanical design modifications, and performing routine inspections to identify mechanical issues. The role involves operating machining and milling equipment, assembling components, and ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. The technician will collaborate with engineers and production staff, document work performed, and support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and maintenance processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering and Troubleshooting to support diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing to accurately interpret and work from engineering diagrams and specifications.
Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling to operate workshop equipment and produce or modify mechanical components.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Practical experience in industrial machinery, automotive, or heavy equipment is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and ability to work effectively in a team-based workshop environment.
Basic computer literacy for documentation and use of maintenance or production software is an advantage.
