About the Company
Our client is a rapidly growing AI-powered medical imaging company developing FDA-regulated technology that helps clinicians make more informed decisions from complex medical images.
With commercial products already in market, they're now expanding their Product organization and looking for a Senior Director of Product to help scale execution as the business grows. 🚀
Job Overview
The Senior Director of Product will report directly to the VP of Product and lead a team of 4 Product Managers.
This is a hands-on Product leadership role focused on turning the product roadmap into execution. You'll lead prioritization, planning, requirements and release management while partnering closely with Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial and Marketing.
We're particularly interested in Product leaders who have worked in fast-moving, commercial-stage MedTech environments and understand how to successfully develop and launch regulated software products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Product Managers. 🏆
Translate product strategy and roadmaps into clear execution plans and commercial releases. 🚀
Own prioritization, planning, requirements and release management across multiple products.
Partner closely with Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing and Commercial teams.
Drive development and commercialization of FDA-regulated software / SaMD products. 🏥
Work directly with clinicians and customers to understand workflows and translate needs into product requirements.
Help build scalable Product processes while maintaining the speed and flexibility of a startup environment.
Support product launches, positioning, customer adoption and continuous improvement. 📈
Required Qualifications
7+ years of Product Management experience within Medical Devices, SaMD or regulated healthcare software.
Experience managing and developing Product Managers.
Proven track record taking regulated software products from requirements through development, FDA and commercial launch.
Strong hands-on experience with roadmap execution, prioritization and release management.
Experience working in a startup, scale-up or smaller commercial-stage MedTech company.
Strong cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Clinical and Regulatory teams.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities and frequent releases.
Preferred Qualifications
AI/ML-enabled medical device or SaMD experience. 🤖
Medical imaging experience, particularly cardiovascular, radiology, ultrasound or image analysis.
Experience within surgical robotics, navigation or other software-heavy medical devices also highly relevant.
Technical or clinical background, ideally Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
Experience with clinical workflows, hospital implementations and healthcare integrations.
