Hardware & Field Technician

We're hiring someone to stand between a customer's order and a working router at their site. Based in Bangalore.
Every Benlycos router that ships has been through the same three steps: assembled by hand, flashed with our Linux firmware, and tested before it goes in a box. Right now that's one person's job, and we need to add a second.
You don't need a degree. You need a diploma in Electronics or a related field, a working knowledge of Linux — comfortable at a terminal, not scared of a command line with no GUI — and hands careful enough for physical assembly work.
What the job actually is:
Build routers from components to a consistent standard
Flash and update our OpenWrt-based firmware on every unit
Test SIM registration, signal, and bonding/failover before anything ships
Package and dispatch real customer orders
Diagnose and fix units that come back faulty
This is a small team. You'll often be the only person on the bench, and from week one you're shipping product that customers in ambulances, broadcast vans and remote sites are actually depending on.
