Placement Officer | SRF Foundation
Working on SRF Foundation’s Green Skills – “Empowering Youth with Green Skills” project, focused on empowering young individuals through industry-oriented skill development, career guidance, and employment opportunities.
• Responsible for candidate sourcing, screening, mobilization, enrolment, and hiring for skill development programs. Supporting candidates through free skill training, career counselling, soft-skills development, interview preparation, and placement assistance through our teams.
•Actively involved in the hiring and placement of 200+ candidates, supporting them from mobilization and training to employment opportunities
• Coordinating end-to-end placement activities, from candidate identification and training completion to interview scheduling, employer coordination, selection, and joining follow-up.Facilitating free training and free placement opportunities for eligible candidates across EV, Solar, and other industry-relevant skill areas.
• Coordinating with industry partners and employers to create suitable job opportunities and placement tie-ups.Working with companies and industry partners including Ashok Leyland company,JCB, Mahindra, Kia, Hyundai, and other associated employers.
• Conducting college orientations, awareness sessions, career counselling,mobilization drives, and placement-oriented activities to reach and engage potential candidates.Providing candidates with placement readiness support, including resume preparation, self-introduction, communication skills, interview skills, workplace readiness, and professional development.
• Coordinating with trainers, colleges, candidates, and employers to ensure smooth execution of training and placement activities.Contributing to the overall objective of SRF Foundation by connecting skill development with sustainable employment opportunities.
