Travel Operation Executive

Where To Next is a growing travel company specializing in Darjeeling, Sikkim & North Bengal travel experiences.
We are looking for a Travel Operations & Business Development Executive who can take ownership of the complete customer journey from the first enquiry to booking, trip coordination and post-trip follow-up.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, sales, customer interaction and operations, and wants to grow with a developing travel brand.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales
Handle customer enquiries through WhatsApp, phone and other channels.
Understand customer requirements and prepare customized itineraries.
Prepare and share quotations.
Follow up with enquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings.
Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the booking process.
Follow up for pending payments and booking confirmations.
Travel Operations
Coordinate hotel and homestay bookings.
Coordinate with drivers, transport providers and local operators.
Confirm vehicles, drivers and sightseeing arrangements.
Coordinate permits and other travel requirements where applicable.
Prepare booking confirmations and travel details for guests.
Monitor ongoing trips and assist with any operational issues.
B2B & Vendor Management
Build and maintain relationships with hotels, homestays, drivers and local travel partners.
Negotiate B2B rates and services.
Maintain updated hotel and vendor databases.
Identify and onboard reliable new travel partners.
Business Development
Follow up with previous customers and enquiries.
Encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
Identify new package and destination opportunities.
Help improve sales and operational processes.
Contribute ideas that can help Where To Next grow.
What We're Looking For
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Good customer-handling and negotiation skills.
Comfortable communicating through WhatsApp and phone calls.
Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple bookings.
Problem-solving mindset.
Willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
Knowledge of Darjeeling, Sikkim & North Bengal tourism will be an advantage.
Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or sales is preferred.
