Title: Software Engineer (Python APIs, Docker & Android) – Morocco (Remote)
About the Role: We are looking for a pragmatic Software Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on industry experience to join a fast-paced development workflow. We avoid heavy corporate bloat and focus purely on clean engineering, structured daily tasks, and real product execution.
What You Will Build & Deliver:
Scraping & API Development: Write complex Python web scrapers (Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy) and package them into clean, well-documented REST APIs (FastAPI/Flask) that can be integrated seamlessly.
Mobile Apps: Develop and maintain native mobile applications using Java & Kotlin (Android) and iOS, directly consuming the APIs you create.
DevOps & Containers: Ensure all backend deliveries and scrapers are containerised using Docker for clean deployments.
Web Architecture: Contribute to the backend and UI development of a digital bookstore site transitioning into an e-commerce platform.
Bonus AI Work: Build intelligent RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Chatbots utilising external LLM endpoints.
Required Experience & Skills:
1+ year of commercial/industrial software engineering experience.
Solid capability in Python (Scraping, Data Processing, API creation).
Practical production capability in native Android (Java/Kotlin).
Daily working knowledge of Docker and Git/GitHub.
Compensation & Terms:
Salary: 1200 MAD/month.
Structure: 3-Month Remote Probation Period (Daily task updates & progress review).
