Role Description This full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division is responsible for regional sales management, including oversight of area managers and technical sales managers. The Regional Sales Manager will plan and execute regional sales strategies, manage key accounts, and lead the local sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with foundry and industrial resin customers, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating technical support to solve customer process and application challenges. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments such as technical service, product management, and supply chain to ensure high service levels and customer satisfaction. The Regional Sales Manager will regularly analyze market trends, prepare sales forecasts and reports, and support the implementation of corporate sales initiatives within the region.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Sales and Technical Sales skills, with experience selling industrial or chemical products in a B2B environment.
Candidates should possess Account Management and Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships, manage key accounts, and address customer needs effectively.
Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to understand customer processes, provide product recommendations, and coordinate problem-solving with technical teams.
Proven experience in regional or area sales management, including leading and developing sales teams and managing performance targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively at multiple organizational levels.
Ability to analyze market data, prepare sales forecasts, and use CRM or sales management tools to drive decision-making.
Relevant degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field; experience in foundry or industrial resins is an advantage.
Willingness to travel within the Pune Division and surrounding regions as required for customer visits and site meetings.
