Greetings, future Product Leader!
Embark on an exciting journey into the realm of product management with 3Pillar! The Product Manager at 3Pillar is the product authority on a client engagement — or a close consulting partner to one. Engagements vary on some, you'll own the vision, roadmap, and backlog outright, with the client looking to you as their product lead. On others, you'll work alongside a client's own Product Manager or Product Owner, contributing product expertise, shaping thinking, and driving execution without holding formal authority. You need to be effective in both modes. In either case, you work in close partnership with a Delivery Lead who owns the client relationship, account health, and delivery accountability which lets you stay focused on the product itself.
This isn't an internal product role. You're embedded in a consulting environment, which means you need to be client-fluent: able to facilitate a requirements workshop, articulate a trade-off clearly to a business stakeholder, and translate messy client problems into crisp, executable product work. You bring both strong product instincts and professional habits, including thoughtful use of AI tools that make you and your team faster and more effective.

Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as Product Manager in client facing role handling Data Engineering/Migration product.
What You'll Do
Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog when serving as the engagement's product authority; partner closely with and advise a client PM or PO when working in a consulting support role
Serve as the product domain expert in client-facing sessions — facilitating requirements workshops, surfacing trade-offs, and translating business needs into clear product decisions
Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure the team has what it needs to execute — a prioritized, well-groomed backlog ahead of planning, clear product direction for refinement, and demos that reflect meaningful progress toward goals
Partner with UX on research — help frame the right questions, engage with findings from interviews and usability tests, and translate user insights into product priorities and decisions
Define, track, and report on product KPIs and OKRs; use data to drive prioritization
Communicate product status, risks, and decisions clearly to the delivery team, Delivery Lead, and client stakeholders
Partner with the Delivery Lead to support pre-sales activities — provide product expertise on scope, solution approach, and feature-level estimation
Integrate AI tools across the SDLC — accelerate research synthesis, documentation, backlog management, and stakeholder reporting
Identify opportunities where AI-powered capabilities could create meaningful value in client products
Coordinate effectively across globally distributed delivery teams in multiple time zones
Experience in writing clear and detailed user stories
Ability to work closely with the team to refine requirements and translate them into actionable stories.
What You Bring
Experience & Background
6+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of shaping software in an Agile environment
2+ years in a consulting, agency, or professional services environment — or demonstrated equivalent client-facing experience
Experience managing a product backlog end-to-end and working across the full product lifecycle
Comfortable operating in fast-changing, client-driven environments with shifting priorities
Strong knowledge of data and data migration
Consulting & Collaboration Skills
Effective in both modes: can serve as the product authority when that's the engagement model, and can work alongside a client PM or PO as a trusted consulting partner when that's what's needed
Able to influence and shape product direction without formal authority — makes ideas land through clarity, evidence, and credibility rather than title
Experienced facilitating requirements workshops and structured discovery sessions with client stakeholders
Strong communicator — synthesizes complex product trade-offs into clear narratives for both technical and business audiences
Collaborative across disciplines: engineering, UX, QA, program management, Delivery Leads, and client product teams
Data-literate — can define product metrics, interpret results, and use them to drive prioritization conversations
Adaptable and effective on globally distributed, cross-cultural delivery teams
AI Fluency (Required)
Integrates AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Jira AI) into daily product workflows as standard practice
Uses AI to accelerate documentation, research synthesis, backlog management, and reporting
Evaluates AI outputs critically; can coach team members on effective, responsible use
Understands the productivity and quality impact of AI tooling across the SDLC
Can identify where AI features create genuine user value vs. where they add complexity without benefit
Familiar with basic considerations for AI product features: data requirements, latency, trust, and transparency
