Job Description-
This role supports the design of high-voltage systems and products, assisting in developing plans and specifications, and in monitoring and testing equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The trainee will work under guidance to identify and resolve issues in electrical/electronic systems, collaborate with senior engineers, and provide technical support across projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in designing high-voltage systems, products, and associated electronic circuitry
Support development of technical plans, specifications, and design documentation
Assist in monitoring, testing, and validating equipment against safety standards and regulatory requirements
Support identification and troubleshooting of issues in electrical/electronic systems
Assist in designing circuits for measuring voltage, current, temperature, humidity, pressure, and flow rate
Support design of AC-DC and DC-AC conversion circuits
Assist in designing analog-to-digital conversion circuit
Support design of microcontroller circuits and associated peripherals
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams; provide technical support on projects
Required Qualifications :
MTech/M.E. in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (recent graduate, 0–1 year experience)
Foundational knowledge of electrical/electronic design and engineering principles
Basic understanding of high-voltage engineering principles
Exposure to power transformer, instrument transformer, and reactor design concepts
Familiarity with electronic hardware - analog/digital circuits, power devices (IGBT), embedded software design
Basic understanding of relay logic
Basic understanding of communication protocols (RS232, RS485, etc.)
Desired Skills :
Knowledge of CAD software and project management tools
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Willingness to learn hands-on in lab/testing environments
