Your Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer (m/f/d), you will provide technical support for customer installations across Europe and beyond. Your responsibilities include:
Performing commissioning, inspections, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting on Air Pollution Control Equipment
Providing technical support and consulting to customers as well as internal teams
Collecting and analyzing operational and plant performance data
Preparing technical reports
Supporting engineering studies, proposal development, and product training programs
Contributing to new-build, modernization, and optimization projects
Ensuring compliance with and monitoring of safety and quality standards
Building long-term customer relationships and identifying opportunities for optimization and additional services
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience with electrostatic precipitators (ESP), flue gas cleaning systems, or similar environmental technologies
Knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and associated auxiliary equipment
Basic understanding of boiler and power plant systems
Experience in technical field service, maintenance, or industrial plant operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Fluent English language skills; additional European languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80%)
