Candidates with experience in Indian Capital Markets and listed-company financial data will be preferred.
Experience with financial results, corporate actions, shareholding and historical data will be particularly relevant for this role.
Candidates with team-management experience, preferably with teams of 15–20 members, will be preferred.
Experience with financial databases, SQL and data validation/quality processes will be an added advantage.
Candidates whose experience aligns with Global Datafeeds' Fundamental/Corporate Data products and business will be given preference.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager – Fundamental (Corporate) Data to lead and manage our Corporate Data Operations function.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Fundamental / Financial / Corporate Data related to listed companies, along with demonstrated experience managing a team of 15–20 people.
This is a specialist financial-data operations role with strong domain experience. Candidates from general MIS, accounting, generic data-entry, BPO or non-financial operations backgrounds will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Operations Management
Manage and mentor a team of 15–20 Corporate Data professionals.
Plan workloads, allocate responsibilities and monitor daily productivity and TAT.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of data operations.
Establish and monitor team-level quality, accuracy and productivity metrics.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training/process-improvement requirements.
Fundamental / Corporate Data Management
Oversee the ongoing maintenance of current and historical Corporate Data for listed companies.
Manage data relating to:
Quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial results
P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
EPS, EBITDA, PAT and financial ratios
Shareholding and promoter holdings
Dividends, bonuses, splits, rights issues and other corporate actions
Company master data and classifications
Corporate announcements and company events
Ensure new information is accurately incorporated into existing historical datasets.
Identify and resolve missing, incorrect, duplicate or inconsistent data.
Data Quality & Process Management
Establish strong data validation, reconciliation and quality-control processes.
Monitor data accuracy and ensure adherence to defined data standards and business rules.
Investigate recurring data errors and implement corrective actions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Coordinate with Product and Technology teams for system and workflow enhancements.
Sales & Client Onboarding Support
Assist the Sales Team in onboarding prospective clients with Fundamental/Corporate Data requirements.
Understand client requirements relating to data fields, coverage, history, formats and frequency.
Support Sales during product discussions, demonstrations and data-related queries.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment of client data requirements.
Act as a domain expert and bridge between Sales, Data Operations, Product and Technology teams.
Required Skills & Experience
6 – 10 years of relevant experience in Fundamental Data, Financial Data, Corporate Data, Market Data or a related capital-markets domain.
Proven experience managing a team of 15–20 people.
Strong understanding of Indian Equity / Capital Markets.
Hands-on experience handling current and historical Corporate / Fundamental Data.
Strong understanding of listed-company financial statements and financial results.
Good knowledge of Corporate Actions and Shareholding Data.
Strong data validation, reconciliation and quality-control skills.
Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with structured datasets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively with Sales, Product, Technology and Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Economics.
6 – 10 years' experience working directly with fundamental/financial data — at a data vendor, research firm, or fintech
Strong command of financial statement analysis, accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP), and corporate actions
Hands-on experience with financial databases (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Capital IQ, FactSet, or similar)
Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating large datasets
Exceptional attention to detail with a data-accuracy-first mindset
Preferred
Experience with XBRL or structured financial reporting formats
