The Senior Associate – MIS & Audit is responsible for executing key Record-to-Report activities including MIS reporting, reconciliations, audit support, and data analysis across multiple entities. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and internal policies, while supporting FP&A, business reviews, and governance processes.
Reporting Structure:
• Functional: Execute country-level R2R activities including MIS reporting, reconciliations, and audit support in line with business requirements, IFRS guidelines, and local compliance. Coordinate with Origin Finance and escalate accounting or reconciliation issues to the Reporting Lead.
• Administrative: Operate within GCC frameworks ensuring adherence to reporting timelines, SLAs, data quality standards, and process governance. Support standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Description:
• Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing schedules, reports, and reconciliations.
• Prepare MIS reports including P&L, Balance Sheet schedules, cash flow summaries, and management dashboards.
• Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget / Prior Period) with clear supporting explanations.
• Ensure accuracy of trial balance through validation of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reclassifications.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and track ageing of open items with timely resolution.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and coordinate with stakeholders for closure and elimination readiness.
• Support preparation of consolidation data and reporting packs for corporate submission.
• Prepare audit schedules and ensure availability of supporting documents for audit requirements.
• Respond to audit queries (internal and external) and track closure of observations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS guidelines, internal controls, and group accounting policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by providing actuals, analysis, and supporting data.
• Deliver ad-hoc reports and analysis (entity-wise, project-wise, segment-wise) as required by management.
• Support preparation of business review decks with financial data, variance insights, and key highlights.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across reports, systems, and submissions.
• Maintain SOPs, documentation, and audit trails for all reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Identify process gaps and support automation / process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
• CA Inter / CMA Qualified
• 5–8 years of experience in R2R, MIS reporting, or audit support roles
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of IFRS / Ind AS preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
