8chili is building a Digital Workforce Operating System for regulated manufacturing, primarily serving the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
Our technology brings together AI, AR, VR, Digital Twins, cloud platforms, and intelligent automation to transform how manufacturing teams learn, practice, perform, and stay audit-ready.
Our products include HintVR for immersive VR training, HintAR for guided on-floor work instructions, and SkillsForge for AI-powered learning and workforce readiness.
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer Intern who is curious, hands-on, and excited to learn beyond traditional web development.
What You'll Work On
As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work closely with our engineering team and contribute to real-world product development.
Backend – Mandatory
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js
Build and integrate REST APIs
Work with authentication, databases, and third-party APIs
Debug, optimise, and improve backend services
Understand and contribute to scalable backend architecture
Frontend / Mobile
Work with Flutter for mobile and web applications
Integrate APIs and build responsive application features
Collaborate with backend and product teams
DevOps & Cloud – Willingness to Learn
Learn Docker and containerization
Understand application deployment and CI/CD
Get hands-on exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure
Learn monitoring, logging, and basic production troubleshooting
AI & Automation
Explore AI APIs and AI-powered application development
Build AI automation and integrations
Work with LLM-based workflows, RAG, and intelligent automation
Integrate external AI services into production applications
Required Skills
Strong fundamentals in Node.js / JavaScript
Basic understanding of REST APIs
Understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with Git/GitHub
Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to learn new technologies independently
Node.js experience is mandatory
Good to Have
Experience with Flutter / Dart
Basic knowledge of Docker
Familiarity with AWS
Knowledge of SQL
Exposure to SCORM or LMS platforms
Experience with AI APIs or LLM integrations
Knowledge of WebSockets
Personal projects or GitHub contributions
