Role Description The Academic Counsellor (Academic Sales) role is a full-time, remote position based in India, focused on guiding prospective and enrolled learners through their educational and career choices. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with learners over calls, emails, and online meetings, understanding their academic and career goals, and recommending suitable LawSikho programs and learning paths. The role involves explaining course structures, outcomes, and expectations, addressing questions and concerns, and helping learners make informed enrollment decisions. The Academic Counsellor also follows up with leads, maintains accurate records in the CRM, collaborates with the sales and academic teams, and supports immediate joiner requirements by handling high volumes of learner interactions efficiently.
Qualifications
Ability to provide effective Student Counseling and Academic Advising to support learners’ educational decisions.
Strong Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally across phone, email, and online platforms.
Experience or strong interest in Career Counseling and Education-focused guidance to help learners plan legal careers.
Comfort with remote work, basic proficiency in using CRM or similar tools, and ability to manage multiple conversations and follow-ups.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; background in law, education, or counseling is an advantage but not mandatory.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; readiness to join immediately and learn sales and counseling processes quickly.
Strong work ethic, goal orientation, and willingness to work flexible hours when required.
