Remote Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer who is obsessed with quality, thinks in edge cases, and enjoys breaking systems before users do.
In this role, you will help us make sure everything we build works the way it should before it reaches our clients and their users. You'll work closely with developers, designers, and project leads to identify what could go wrong, and help build a stronger quality process across our projects.
What You'll Do
Plan and execute manual testing across web and mobile applications
Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation
Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs clearly
Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing
Test APIs and backend functionality
Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues
Verify fixes and ensure new features don't introduce existing problems
Participate in product reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective
Help establish and improve QA processes across Forest projects
Contribute to building a more structured and scalable testing environment
Gradually explore and implement test automation as you grow in the role
What We're Looking For
2–4 years of experience in QA, software testing, or a related role
Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals
Experience with manual testing and writing test cases
Ability to think from the perspective of the end user
Ability to reproduce and communicate bugs clearly
Understanding of web applications and APIs
Good debugging and root-cause analysis skills
Comfortable reading technical documentation and learning new tools
Excellent English communication

Experience in enterprise system

CI/CD pipeline experience
Testing AI-powered applications
Mandarin / Chinese language ability
