Junior Automotive CGI Artist

Venuum is looking for a Junior Automotive CGI Artist / 3D Visualizer to join our creative team.
This is a junior position suited to someone with a strong foundation in 3D visualization who wants to develop their skills within the automotive industry. You’ll work across a variety of projects including vehicle renders, promotional content, client visualizations and other CGI requirements as projects evolve.
We’re not necessarily looking for someone with years of professional experience. We’re looking for someone with good fundamentals, strong attention to detail, curiosity, reliability and the drive to improve.
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality automotive image and video renders
Produce CGI content for social media, marketing, presentations and other promotional material
Support client vehicle configuration and visualization requests
Work with existing vehicle models and make basic to intermediate 3D modifications when required
Develop lighting, materials, environments, camera compositions and overall presentation
Explore different colours, materials, finishes and vehicle specifications
Use AI-assisted workflows alongside traditional CGI for environments, compositing and visual enhancement while maintaining the accuracy of the vehicle and its design
Perform basic image editing, compositing and colour correction in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent
Be comfortable with post processing renders in Blender or equivalent
Perform basic video editing, colour grading and post-production in DaVinci Resolve or equivalent
Research references and ensure rendered vehicles accurately represent the intended design and specification
Review your own work for visual and technical errors before delivery
Collaborate with the wider design, graphics and visualization team
Organise project files and provide clear hand-offs when work is passed between team members
Adapt to different types of CGI work depending on current company and client requirements
What we're looking for:
A portfolio demonstrating strong 3D rendering and visualization ability
Automotive CGI work in your portfolio is strongly preferred
Experience with Blender is preferred, although experience with 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Maya or similar software is also welcome
Comfortable working with and modifying 3D models
Basic proficiency in Photoshop
Basic proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or comparable editing software
Good understanding of lighting, materials, composition and camera work
Strong attention to small details
Comfortable learning and experimenting with new tools, including AI-assisted creative workflows
Able to take feedback constructively and apply it to future work
Proactive and willing to ask questions when something is unclear
Able to manage tasks independently while working remotely
Strong communication and reliability are essential
Must provide regular progress updates and remain responsive during agreed working hours
Nice to have:
Previous automotive visualization experience
Interest or knowledge in cars, aftermarket design or luxury vehicles
Experience with automotive materials such as carbon fibre, leather, paint and metals
Experience creating both still imagery and animation
Experience with AI image/video tools and compositing workflows
Basic understanding of graphic design
Portfolio:
