Tata Elxsi is looking for an experienced IP professional to drive FTO, patent intelligence, competitive intelligence, and innovation initiatives across Automotive, ADAS, Connected Mobility, 5G/6G, Healthcare, AI, Cloud, Blockchain, and Digital Engineering domains.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct FTO, patent clearance, and patentability assessments for products, platforms, and customer deliverables.
Deliver patent landscapes, competitive intelligence, technology scouting, white-space studies, and SEP analyses to support business and R&D decisions.
Develop claim charts, design-around strategies, and IP risk mitigation recommendations.
Lead innovation programs, invention-mining campaigns, ideation initiatives, and IP training workshops across engineering teams.
Manage IP dashboards, reporting, and stakeholder engagement across engineering, business, legal, finance, and procurement functions.
Support trademark and design clearance activities.
What We're Looking For
5-10+ years of primary experience in FTO, technology landscaping, competitive intelligence, and IP strategy.
Proven delivery of 15-20+ IP intelligence/FTO/technology assessment projects, including experience in Automotive Software/ADAS, Connected Mobility, 5G/6G & SEP, AI, Cloud, Blockchain, or Medical Devices.
Strong patent search, claim analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Patent drafting/prosecution experience is a plus.
