About the Role:
As part of our strategic transformation, our global client is consolidating regional finance functions into a centralized Global Finance Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Gurugram.
We are hiring an R2R Senior Analyst to lead entity-level general ledger management, balance sheet assurance, and process migrations from international hubs. This is an opportunity for an experienced GL professional seeking hands-on ownership of greenfield transitions, local GAAP alignment, and global controlling projects.
Key Responsibilities:
CoE Setup & Transition: Actively drive transition activities from regional hubs into the CoE, drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and readiness assessments, followed by post-go-live hypercare management.
General Ledger & Close Operations: Maintain general ledger integrity for designated international entities, prepare and post recurring/accrual manual journals, manage fixed assets, and deliver Month-End/Year-End close cycles.
Balance Sheet Assurance: Perform deep-dive balance sheet reconciliations, substantiate balances, investigate open line items, and clear unreconciled variances.
Intercompany & Statutory Compliance: Execute intercompany invoicing, cross-charges, and reconciliations, while partnering with Regional Controllers to prepare local GAAP statutory and tax documentation.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for Group Financial Controlling, External Auditors, and Regional Finance Leaders.
What We Look For:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (M.Com/Inter CA/MBA Finance preferred).
Experience: 3–7 years of progressive Record to Report (R2R) experience within a captive GCC/GBS or global corporate finance function.
Transition Exposure: Demonstrated experience participating in knowledge transfer (KT), documentation, or process transitions to a captive CoE setup.
Technical Acumen: Strong command over core accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS/UK GAAP), balance sheet substantiation, intercompany netting, and modern ERP environments.
Communication & Collaboration: Proven capability to operate autonomously, manage audits, and liaise with senior regional finance stakeholders.
