The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Analyst to support treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, banking activities, financial risk management, and treasury reporting.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and financial skills with practical treasury experience to maintain accurate cash visibility, optimize liquidity, monitor exposures, support funding decisions, and ensure efficient execution of treasury transactions and controls.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily treasury activities across cash management, liquidity, banking, and financial operations.
Monitor daily cash positions across bank accounts, entities, currencies, and jurisdictions.
Prepare daily and periodic cash-position reports for Treasury and senior management.
Maintain accurate cash forecasts based on operating activities, receivables, payables, payroll, capital expenditure, financing, and other cash flows.
Develop short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity forecasts.
Analyze forecast versus actual cash flows and investigate significant variances.
Identify upcoming liquidity requirements, funding gaps, surplus cash, and potential cash-management opportunities.
Coordinate cash transfers between bank accounts and entities in accordance with approved treasury policies.
Optimize cash balances while maintaining sufficient liquidity for operational requirements.
Monitor bank balances, deposits, investments, credit facilities, and other treasury positions.
Support cash pooling, sweeping, netting, and intercompany funding arrangements where applicable.
Manage intercompany loans, settlements, funding arrangements, and related documentation.
Monitor intercompany balances and coordinate timely settlement and reconciliation.
Prepare and process approved treasury transactions accurately and within required deadlines.
Review payment instructions and treasury transactions for completeness, accuracy, authorization, and control compliance.
Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Accounting, and Finance teams on cash requirements.
Support payment-funding activities and ensure sufficient liquidity for scheduled obligations.
Monitor incoming collections and major customer receipts for cash-flow planning.
Track significant supplier payments, tax payments, payroll requirements, debt service, and other material cash obligations.
Maintain strong relationships with relationship banks, financial institutions, payment providers, and treasury service partners.
Coordinate bank-account opening, closure, mandate changes, signatory updates, and account documentation.
Maintain accurate records of bank accounts, authorized signatories, banking mandates, and treasury documentation.
Monitor banking fees, transaction charges, interest income, and other bank-related costs.
Analyze banking costs and identify opportunities to improve banking efficiency.
Support negotiation and review of banking services, fees, credit terms, and treasury products.
Monitor committed and available credit facilities and other financing arrangements.
Track loan balances, interest payments, maturities, covenants, and financing requirements.
Prepare debt and financing schedules and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
Support refinancing, debt issuance, facility renewal, and financing projects where applicable.
Monitor foreign-exchange exposures arising from operating activities, intercompany transactions, investments, and financing.
Prepare foreign-exchange exposure reports and support approved hedging strategies.
Monitor exchange-rate movements and assess potential impacts on cash flows and financial results.
Support execution and documentation of foreign-exchange transactions and other approved hedging instruments.
Monitor interest-rate exposures and assess potential impacts on financing costs.
Support treasury risk-management activities covering liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rates, counterparty, and banking risks.
Monitor counterparty exposures and ensure they remain within approved limits.
Prepare treasury risk reports and escalate significant exposures or exceptions.
Support investment of surplus cash in approved short-term instruments and deposits.
Monitor investment maturities, yields, counterparties, and liquidity requirements.
Ensure treasury investments comply with approved policies, limits, and risk parameters.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unusual items.
Coordinate with Accounting to ensure treasury transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
Review bank charges, interest income, interest expense, foreign-exchange gains and losses, and other treasury-related accounting entries.
Support month-end and year-end treasury close activities.
Prepare treasury schedules, reconciliations, journals, and supporting documentation.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing treasury records, confirmations, reconciliations, and transaction evidence.
Maintain appropriate segregation of duties, approval controls, and treasury authorization procedures.
Identify potential fraud, unauthorized transactions, payment risks, and control weaknesses.
Support treasury fraud-prevention controls, including payment verification and bank-account change controls.
Monitor treasury systems, banking platforms, payment interfaces, and financial-data integrations.
Support treasury-management-system implementation, upgrades, automation, and process improvements.
Develop dashboards and reports covering liquidity, cash balances, working capital, debt, foreign exchange, banking, and treasury performance.
Improve treasury reporting through automation, standardization, and data-quality improvements.
Support working-capital initiatives by analyzing receivables, payables, inventory, and cash-conversion trends.
Collaborate with FP&A on cash-flow forecasting, business planning, and financial scenarios.
Partner with Tax, Legal, Accounting, and Finance teams on treasury-related projects and transactions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treasury practices, banking developments, financial markets, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Mentor junior treasury analysts and provide guidance on treasury processes, analysis, controls, and reporting.
Provide management with timely analysis of liquidity, cash-flow trends, financing requirements, financial risks, and treasury opportunities.

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should have strong experience in treasury, cash management, corporate finance, financial analysis, banking operations, or financial risk management, preferably within a multinational, multinational-group, financial-services, industrial, commercial, or geographically distributed organization.
