Role Description
The Finance Content Writer Intern will support Mavenwit’s marketing and advertising initiatives by creating clear, engaging, and accurate finance-focused content. This internship role is remote and involves collaborating with marketing, strategy, and creative teams to develop articles, blog posts, social media content, and ad copy on topics such as financial services, investment concepts, budgeting, and business growth. The intern will conduct research on finance trends, regulations, and market insights, and translate complex information into accessible content for diverse audiences. Daily tasks include drafting and editing written materials, aligning content with brand guidelines, optimizing content for digital channels, and incorporating feedback from supervisors and cross-functional stakeholders. The role also offers opportunities to learn about digital marketing, advertising strategies, and content performance analytics in a fast-paced global environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple, engaging language.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in finance, economics, or accounting, and be comfortable researching financial markets, products, and trends.
Candidates should possess basic digital marketing and content marketing skills, including familiarity with social media platforms and SEO principles.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, critical-thinking, and research skills to validate data and ensure content accuracy.
Candidates should possess effective communication, time management, and organizational skills, and be able to work independently in a remote environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in content writing, blogging, or academic writing, especially in finance or business topics, is an added advantage.
Comfort with collaboration tools, basic productivity software, and openness to feedback and continuous learning is expected.
