Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contracts & Billing Engineer to manage contractor billing, contract administration, quantity verification, cost control, and commercial activities for residential and commercial real estate projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing and verifying RA bills, BOQs, work orders, contract documentation, and coordinating with project, procurement, and finance teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesContracts Management
Prepare, review, and administer contractor and subcontractor agreements.
Draft and issue Work Orders (WO), Purchase Orders (PO), and contract amendments.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
Monitor contract progress, milestones, renewals, and closures.
Manage contract documentation and maintain proper records.
Billing & Commercial
Review, verify, and certify Contractor and Subcontractor RA Bills.
Prepare final bills and reconcile quantities with BOQs.
Coordinate with site teams for work measurement and billing approvals.
Process payment certifications and coordinate with the Finance team.
Track advances, retention money, security deposits, and final settlements.
Quantity Surveying & Cost Control
Verify quantities as per approved drawings and executed work.
Conduct BOQ analysis, rate analysis, and variation order management.
Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Evaluate additional works and prepare commercial justifications.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Consultants, and Contractors.
Resolve billing and contractual issues.
Prepare commercial MIS reports, billing status reports, and cost reports.
Maintain documentation for audits and project records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
4–12 years of relevant experience in Contracts & Billing with a Real Estate Developer or Construction Company.
