Software Program Manager

Overview
The Software Program Manager is a key member of the Technology Planning group at Rayvector. This role supports the Product and SW Platform Solutions team, driving software integration, stability testing, debugging, and commercialization of software products. The Program Manager will lead program management efforts in planning and execution across multiple technology areas, programs, and initiatives across business units, ensuring predictable and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Drive requirements scoping, analysis, and planning across multiple technology teams, including assessment of interdependencies, staffing constraints, and schedule optimization.
Establish strong execution discipline and communication processes, including risk management, mitigation planning, schedule tracking vs. baseline, recovery actions, and executive reporting.
Partner with cross-functional groups to establish and improve processes that support disciplined product development and informed decision-making. Coordination across multiple global sites will be required.
Manage stakeholder expectations, channel requirements to engineering teams, and drive alignment on schedules, plans, and processes.
Establish and maintain a clear Plan of Record (POR), ensuring prioritization and cross-team commitment.
Communicate complex technical and program information effectively to diverse audiences, demonstrating strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
Operate independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks and making decisions with moderate impact.
Apply strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain program momentum and accountability.
Skills and Experience
Working knowledge of software development principles and the mobile/embedded industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
10+ years of combined experience in software product development and software program management within the embedded software industry.7+ experience in software development ,preferable C,C++ and other core languages.
Experience with multiple software technologies and end-to-end product integration.
Experience managing software products through the full software development lifecycle, including risk identification and mitigation.
Experience managing operating budgets, resource planning, and/or project financials.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Agile/Scrum or hybrid development methodologies.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar program-management tools.
Experience with hardware–software integration processes.
Ability to influence across large, matrixed organizations.
Experience collaborating with OEMs, ODMs, or mobile ecosystem partners.
