The Role
We are looking for a talented and confident Event Technician to help us deliver our virtual games over the busy Christmas period. From games of 10 participants to events with 100s of attendees, you will ensure smooth technical delivery, manage client interactions, and respond rapidly to any issues that arise. While this is initially a seasonal role, there is the opportunity to join our team on a more permanent basis if you impress during December. As part of this role, you will:
Manage the technical delivery of virtual events.
Confidently use major video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex).
Run advanced functionalities such as breakout rooms, video and sound sharing, chat, and waiting rooms.
Manage our online quiz and scoring software
Support and guide clients before and during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges quickly and calmly. You will be given comprehensive training in November on our systems, software, and processes. This training is mandatory, paid at $20 per hour, and designed to set you up for success during December.
What We’re Looking For
Experience running virtual events (corporate, team-building, or entertainment preferred).
Confidence with Zoom and Microsoft Teams; familiarity with Google Meet and Webex is a plus.
Strong technical ability with breakout rooms, video/sound sharing, chat, waiting rooms, etc.
Excellent client relationship skills – calm, clear, and professional under pressure.
Problem-solving mindset – able to handle technical challenges rapidly and independently.
Pay & Opportunity
Training: $20 per hour
Event Delivery: $25 – $45 per hour
Ongoing Opportunities: Potential to work with us on a more regular basis beyond December
