Your Mission
As part of Nuvei’s OCC Monitoring team, you will help ensure the stability and continuity of our global payment services. You will monitor Nuvei’s production environment and payment activity, identify unusual behaviour or service interruptions, perform initial investigations and coordinate with the relevant teams until each incident is resolved. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for students and recent graduates who are analytical, curious, responsible and interested in building a career in fintech and technology operations. You will gain hands-on experience with global, business-critical payment systems, investigate incidents in real time, analyse transaction data and collaborate with technical and business teams around the world.
Responsibilities
Monitor payment activity, production systems and business-critical processes in real time.
Identify unusual trends, transaction failures, service interruptions and technical issues.
Perform initial investigations using monitoring tools, dashboards and data.
Respond to operational and technical incidents quickly and accurately.
Coordinate incident resolution with technical, operational and business teams globally.
Track incidents from identification through resolution and ensure that the relevant stakeholders are updated.
Analyse data to identify recurring issues, patterns and potential service risks.
Document incidents, investigations and actions taken.
Qualifications
Current student or recent graduate in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Data or another analytical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of responsibility and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm, focused and organised during real-time incidents.
Ability to learn new systems and processes independently.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Availability to work at least four shifts per week, including night shifts, weekends and holidays.
Nice to have
Basic SQL knowledge.
Familiarity with networking concepts or IP communication protocols.
Programming or scripting knowledge.
Previous experience in a control room, NOC, SOC, technical support, operations or a military command-and-control environment.
Working Model
This is an office-based position and does not include a hybrid working model.
The OCC operates 24/7, and the shifts are:
Morning shift: 08:00–17:00
Evening shift: 17:00–00:00
Night shift: 00:00–08:00
A minimum commitment of four shifts per week is required. The schedule includes nights, weekends and holidays.
