Role Description This is a remote contract role for a System Architect at NEUROQUEST LLC Compassion Hub. The System Architect will design and document system architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical standards, and security requirements. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating existing systems, proposing improvements, defining integration patterns, and collaborating with software developers and systems engineers to guide implementation. The role involves creating technical specifications, reviewing design and code for adherence to architecture principles, and troubleshooting complex system issues. The System Architect will also participate in planning sessions, provide technical mentorship, and support the evolution of the organization’s technology stack.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in System Architecture and Systems Design for scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in Systems Engineering and Integration to ensure interoperable, reliable, and well-orchestrated system components.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and validate architectural decisions.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills for complex technical environments.
Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, and security best practices is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience as a System Architect or senior technical lead on large, distributed systems is preferred.
