The short version
We're looking for a designer who doesn't stay in one lane. Someone who can build an identity system on Monday, storyboard a 30-second film on Wednesday, and walk a client through the thinking on Friday without losing the room.
This is a six-month internship that exists to become a full-time job. We're not hiring interns to fill a gap, we're hiring the person we want on the team, and using six months to make sure we're both right about it.
You won't be handed a template and asked to resize it. You'll be in the room where the problem gets defined which means you need taste, range, and the ability to explain why you made the choice you made.
What you'll actually do
Design across formats: identity systems, campaign visuals, social, packaging, motion, editorial, decks, and whatever the brief demands next
Translate a strategy or a rough brief into visual directions — usually more than one, always with a point of view
Present your work. Out loud. To people who will push back. Defend what's right, drop what isn't
Work through revisions without losing the original idea
Keep systems tight: type scales, grids, colour, file hygiene, handoff that doesn't break
Sit in on strategy and client conversations, take notes, and come back with something nobody asked for but everybody needed
Who this is for
An undergraduate who is hungry not for a title, but for reps. For the kind of range you only get by shipping a lot of work, fast, under real constraints, with someone senior telling you exactly what's wrong with it.
If you've been making things outside your coursework zines, posters for a friend's gig, a rebrand nobody asked for, an Instagram account where you post type experiments, we want to see that more than we want to see your final-year submission.
What we're looking for
Non-negotiable
A portfolio with a point of view. 3 pieces you can defend beats forty you can't
Genuine multidisciplinary range, you're not just a poster person or just a UI person
Strong communication. You can write a clear email, run a review, and explain a design decision in plain language. This matters as much as the craft
Command of the tools: Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
The ability to take blunt feedback without deflating, and to push back when you're right.
Available for six months on-site in Bengaluru.
Bonus points
Motion (After Effects) or 3D (Blender)
Illustration or hand-lettering in your own voice
Photography, art direction, or a sense for how a shoot comes together
Indian type and vernacular design sensibility
A side project you've kept alive for more than six months
The money, plainly
Months 1–6: ₹30,000 per month.
On conversion: ₹5.5–8.5 LPA. Where you land in that band is decided by the six months, not by your resume. What moves you up it:
Range — how many formats you can own end to end without supervision
Independence — how much of a brief you can take from kickoff to delivery alone
Client-facing ability — whether we can put you in a room with a client and relax
Craft consistency — your worst piece, not your best one
We'll tell you where you're tracking at the three-month mark, so the conversion conversation holds no surprises.
