Overview of the role:
The Accounts Payable Junior Analyst position supports the finance team in processing vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and ensuring timely payments. This role involves assisting with accounts payable operations, vendor management, and financial reporting while developing expertise in accounting processes under experienced finance professionals' guidance.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing and verifying vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Entering and maintaining data in the accounts payable system.
- Assisting with vendor inquiries and statement reconciliations.
- Supporting month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Helping prepare reports on outstanding payments and aging analysis.
Requirements:
- Finance Experience: 1+ year in accounts payable, accounting, or finance roles.
- Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Technical Skills: Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Task Management: Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Language Skills: Good level of English.
