Quality Assurance Test Engineer

QA / Test Engineer
Owns test coverage across GoOnTrip's web and mobile apps, catching functional and cosmetic defects across bookings, payments, and points before they reach customers.
Role Description
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end test suites across web and mobile (Playwright for web; Flutter integration/widget tests for mobile)
• Design functional test cases covering booking, payment, and points redemption/refund flows across the full stack: UI, APIs, and database
• Perform cosmetic/UI testing across screen sizes, browsers, and devices to catch visual regressions
• Test JavaScript/Node backend APIs and verify database integrity (data consistency, edge cases, error handling)
• Run nightly regression suites across web and mobile builds
• Log, triage, and track defects through to resolution with engineering
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and own release sign-off before each production deploy
Requirements
• 4+ years in QA/test automation, ideally on a transactional or marketplace product, with experience owning release sign-off solo
• Hands-on with Playwright, and mobile test frameworks for Flutter (integration_test or equivalent)
• Comfortable testing JavaScript/Node APIs and validating database state
• Experience with both functional and cosmetic/UI testing across web and mobile
• Detail-oriented; able to write clear reproduction steps and prioritize defect severity
