Department Profile
The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate, Currency Products, Commodities, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, derivatives, lending and repo products, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.
From the largest global institutions to innovative new hedge funds, investors come to Morgan Stanley for sales, trading, and market-making services in almost every type of financial instruments including stocks, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodities. Our professionals provide liquidity and content to clients around the world, actively assessing and managing risk, trading securities, and planning and executing transactions in the fast-changing markets. As the needs of our clients become increasingly complex, we often develop customized solutions.
What You'll Do In The Role
Provide solutions to automate manual process involved in various transactions
Provide accurate and fast pricing and risk statistics on structured derivatives transaction.
Handle trade booking processes.
Prepare trades templates and booking models for bonds and popular structures
What You'll Bring To The Role
Solid quantitative background, eg Engineer (IIT) with MBAs, or finance with 2-3yrs of experience.
Coursework / Strong understanding in programming and coding.
Solid understanding of Interest rate products, derivatives & markets.
Ideally some relevant work experience.
Python / VBA or other coding expertise
Must be self-motivated, confident and possess good communication skills.
Ability to think on their feet & attention to details.
Ability to handle stress and pressure of fast markets.
