Animator / Motion Designer

Job Summary
Plutus21 looking for a creative Freelance Animator / Motion Designer to bring ideas, campaigns, and visual content to life through animation and motion graphics. This is a remote, project-based freelance position, with work assigned based on upcoming creative and animation projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of visual storytelling and can transform static designs, concepts, and ideas into engaging animations for digital platforms, social media, presentations, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, and short-form visual content.
Animate existing graphic designs, illustrations, icons, typography, and brand assets.
Develop animations for websites, social media, marketing campaigns, presentations, and digital content.
Create engaging transitions, kinetic typography, explainer animations, and visual effects.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other teams to understand creative briefs.
Develop storyboards and animation concepts where required.
Ensure animations follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
Make revisions based on feedback and project requirements.
Manage multiple projects and deliver work within agreed timelines.
Keep up with current motion-design, animation, and digital-content trends.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Animator, Motion Designer, or similar role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating animation and motion-design work.
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of timing, movement, transitions, composition, and visual storytelling.
Good understanding of typography and graphic design.
Ability to work independently and interpret creative briefs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
