As our Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), you will provide quality care to patients undergoing invasive procedures, effectively assisting physicians in highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, IABP operation, and electrophysiology studies. Every day you will explain procedures to patients, position x-ray equipment for optimal imaging, utilize and monitor safe radiological practices, and meticulously monitor/record patient hemodynamic and physiologic data.
