Pharmacy Business Analyst I

Novant Health is looking for an entry-level Pharmacy Business Analyst I to join our team in a remote capacity (Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM).

What You Will Do
Workflow & Process Evaluation: Evaluate pharmacy workflows, identify opportunities for process improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business needs.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze pharmacy utilization, medication usage, business trends, and financial performance to build reports, dashboards, and data visualizations (Power BI preferred).
Technical Collaboration: Utilize SQL and database programming languages to manage information pipelines and partner with IT and clinical teams to optimize pharmacy technology and reporting tools.
Project Support: Support operational and strategic projects by preparing clear summaries for leadership, participating in project meetings, and assisting with testing, training, and post-implementation reviews.
What We Are Looking For
Education: High School diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, healthcare administration, business, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
Core Skills: Healthcare analytics experience, strong database programming languages such as SQL, report/dashboard development, data visualization, and data storytelling.
Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of pharmacy workflows in acute, infusion, retail, and specialty environments.
Professional Attributes: The ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Preferred Experience: Experience with Epic reporting, healthcare data warehouses, Python, Databricks, Power Query, and process improvement projects.
