Role Description The Senior Data Scientist will lead end-to-end analytic initiatives, including problem formulation, data exploration, model development, and evaluation. Responsibilities include designing experiments, building predictive and statistical models, and conducting rigorous data analysis to inform product decisions and business strategy. The role involves creating clear data visualizations and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as mentoring other team members in best practices. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate models into production systems and continuously improve performance. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Data Science and advanced machine learning methods, with experience delivering production-ready solutions.
Solid foundation in Statistics, including hypothesis testing, experimental design, and probabilistic modeling.
Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis to derive insights from complex, large-scale datasets.
Ability to create clear, effective Data Visualization for storytelling and stakeholder communication.
Expertise with languages and tools such as Python or R, SQL, and common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and workflows (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure; data pipelines; version control).
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate across functions, and mentor other data professionals.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
