Role Description The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening relationships with independent agents and partners across an assigned territory. This role includes managing sales pipelines, presenting Foremost products, and negotiating terms that align with company guidelines and customer needs. The Territory Sales Manager conducts regular virtual and occasional on-site training sessions for agents on product offerings, systems, and sales best practices. Day-to-day activities involve monitoring territory performance, analyzing market trends, providing proactive customer and agent support, and collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies that increase market share. The role also includes preparing sales reports, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including the ability to present, negotiate, and build lasting professional relationships.
Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, with experience in territory management, pipeline development, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and supporting agents and policyholders.
Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to deliver clear product education and sales coaching to agents and team members.
Candidates should possess Sales Management skills, such as strategic planning, performance tracking, and implementing territory growth initiatives.
Relevant qualifications include prior experience in insurance or financial services, familiarity with property and casualty products, and comfort working with CRM and sales analytics tools.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred, along with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel within the territory as needed.
