Company Description Mednivo is a next-generation practice management platform built for modern doctors and clinics, helping healthcare professionals focus on patient care instead of complex software. The platform streamlines clinical workflows, including a rich-text drag-and-drop prescription builder, smart appointment queues, and integrated billing. Using cutting-edge technology and an intuitive, premium design, Mednivo aims to provide a seamless experience for medical practices. The product is currently in active development, offering opportunities to work on new features and enhancements. Mednivo is preparing for an official launch, with ongoing updates and feature reveals.
Role Description As a Software Engineer Intern at Mednivo, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of core platform features that support clinical workflows. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement back-end services, integrate APIs, and improve system performance and reliability. Daily tasks include writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, debugging issues, and documenting technical solutions. You will collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into functional software components and iterate based on user feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, offering hands-on experience with a product in active development.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in practical projects.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing maintainable, well-documented code.
Interest in healthcare technology and building tools that improve the daily work of medical professionals.
