Role Description
We are looking for a Generative AI Developer with hands-on experience in Generative AI, Computer Vision, document processing, and data analysis.
The role involves building AI solutions to process PDFs, scanned documents, images, and other data sources, extract structured information, generate or recreate images, perform OMR-based answer recognition, and analyze data for meaningful insights.
This is a remote contract role requiring independent ownership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Build Generative AI and multimodal AI solutions for document and image processing.
* Extract text, images, diagrams, questions, and structured data from PDFs and scanned documents.
* Develop AI-based image extraction, enhancement, and image generation workflows.
* Build OMR reading and evaluation solutions for scanned answer sheets.
* Implement OCR, image segmentation, cropping, alignment, and Computer Vision techniques.
* Convert unstructured content into structured outputs such as JSON and database records.
* Perform data analysis, validation, anomaly detection, and reporting.
* Develop and integrate AI-powered REST APIs and backend services.
* Optimize prompts, AI outputs, extraction accuracy, and model performance.
* Deploy and maintain AI services in cloud-based environments.
Qualifications
* Strong programming experience in Python.
* Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, multimodal AI, and Prompt Engineering.
* Experience with Computer Vision, OCR, PDF processing, and image processing.
* Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI platforms.
* Experience with libraries/frameworks such as OpenCV, PyMuPDF, Pillow, NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face.
* Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
* Experience with OMR processing, document intelligence, or structured data extraction is an advantage.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Document AI, multimodal AI, OMR processing, image generation, OCR, data analytics, and AI API development will be preferred.
