About the Company

This role focuses on shaping and executing procurement strategies, identifying and onboarding key suppliers across multiple regions, and ensuring strong performance in cost efficiency, delivery reliability, quality standards, and innovation, particularly within advanced aerospace materials such as metals, composites, and polymers. About the Role
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with analytical strength, able to evaluate sourcing options, build solid business cases, and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers globally, focusing on aerospace components and advanced materials.
Expand and strengthen the supplier base across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business and program objectives.
Build and present detailed business cases to support supplier selection, transitions, and cost optimization.
Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and sustainable sourcing decisions.
Plan and coordinate procurement activities in line with project milestones.
Analyze supplier and procurement data to enable informed decision-making.
Manage full sourcing cycles, including supplier engagement, evaluation, and contract finalization.
Lead complex commercial negotiations with focus on cost, performance, and delivery timelines.
Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams.
Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement actions.
Act as the main interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ensure materials and components meet required specifications, certifications, and delivery timelines.
Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and internal governance processes.
Support the evolution of category strategies and sourcing best practices.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.
Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development within the aerospace sector
Preferred Skills
Certifications in project management or procurement (e.g., PMP, CPSM, or equivalent)
Experience working with subcontractors and external logistics or warehousing partners.
Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100.
Additional Requirements
Availability for international travel 30% of the time(Europe, UK, Asia, USA)
Valid driving license
