Information Technology Director

Role Description The Information Technology Director at Consultores Laf is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall IT function and strategy. This role involves managing day-to-day IT operations, supervising systems performance, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure technology initiatives align with business objectives. The Information Technology Director will design and implement IT policies, oversee network security measures, and maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role also includes evaluating new technologies, managing vendor relationships, supporting incident resolution, and providing guidance to any IT staff or external partners.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong IT Management and IT Operations skills to oversee daily technology activities and ensure reliable, efficient services.
Candidates should possess solid Information Technology and IT Strategy skills to plan, implement, and optimize systems that support organizational goals.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills to protect infrastructure, data, and systems through robust security practices and risk management.
Candidates should have experience leading cross-functional projects, managing budgets, and collaborating effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and prior experience in IT leadership or director-level roles, are highly beneficial.
